I like the idea of capturing panoramic images but displaying them on the web is difficult becasue the image size is reduced to make the very wide picture fit. What I'd like to do is veiw the image as a 360 'rotating' image so the full detail can be enjoyed.I've tried finding free software to create the 360 but haven't had any sucess (e.g Pano2QTVR), all the ones I've come across only stitch images together rather than wrap one image into a cylinder.Has anyone had any sucess?

My question is , how much editing is acceptable, for the competition, do they what to show off the camera capabilities, or photoshop/picasa.  Obviously cropping seems acceptable, but what about framing,  I have framed my entry, but wondering if Fuji are just looking to show their cameras and would frown upon anything extra.

I am interested in what others think about his, and I bet this has been discussed to death before, but when does the picture you took stop being that picture?I have just been looking through some pictures here and came across a few composite images and although they were great images I started thinking "that's not the shot that was taken".I then started to look at other images and could see some heavy photoshopping (or whatever program used) and I started to query my own criteria for deciding on what was the difference between a photograph and an image.

I have just been exploring ACR 7 and I am very impressed. Not only is it easier to use with much more sensible sliders but the noise reduction is excellent as are the colour balance sliders. Overall, I think, top marks.

The weather wasn't too good when I took these pics but I thought there was enough light. Why has the sky come out white when the reflections show the way it was ?

Think about choosing glasses in silver or gold.Thicker styles with contemporary styles and odd tints make the statement of creativity. Artists, writers, and loads of college kids are often inspired to select eyeglass frames that don't adhere to the stereotypical design.Cat-eye, upswept rectangles, and elliptical shaped eyeglasses are great for active moms and dads and seniors who don't really go for modern styles, but want to look chic.

For my editing at present i process my image in ViewNx, add my signature from a brush in PSE 9, then i go to Photoscape to add a simple border ( its so easy), why, because i am struggling to get a border or frame in Elements. When i open effects in Elements i seem to have two options for frames, drop shadow or recessed, is this it ? If it is i will have to work with it, i can change the frame colours, i stumbled on this by fiddling, but at present i cannot change the size of the frame.

Hi,  Could anyone please advise if free online editing software such as Lunapic, Picasa and Pixlr are useful and worthwhile.  I haven't the means at present to buy editing software and wondered if anyone had used these and could recommend, (or not). Many thanks,  Gill

Hello to you all,I was wondering if anybody else has tried out this, i believe quite new,  photo editing software?I downloaded the free trial a few weeks ago,and i am very impressed with it.The only thing with the trial version ,is that you are unable to save your work, but obviously when you buy the full product, about £19.00 i think, it can be saved.Look forward to hearing from you..Pete

When I crop pictures in picasa from my S2950 the cropped image fills the viewing area but when I do the same from my panasonic lumix DMC-F3 compact the cropped area remains the same size as it was in the original and doesn't fill the area. Can somebody tell me why please.

I have a nice picture (my opinion) in my gallery titled "The Hunter" of a Barn Owl taken in February, and winter light often appears blueish in colour , this is a Jpeg (i know i should have used RAW).Most of the picture appears ok but the Owl has a blueish tint, can i remove the tint in PS Elements ? This appears more prominent when it is printed on a Canon printer, Canon glossy paper.Any help would be appreciated i have provided the link to the picture, i have not done this to recieve comments or likes.

Which crop works better, landscape or portrait or is there anything i could do to give more impact. I have included the original, the Marsh Harriers were a long way away so i dont think it will stand a tight crop. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi EveryoneCan you help me purchase three 8.5" clamp lamps, please, this link will show you the kind I'm after ... http://remodelista.com/products/designers-edge-8-5-in-incandescent-clamp-lightThe reason for asking is these lamps with a daylight bulb can be clamped virtually anywhere give cheap constant lighting. They are very big with American photographers and cost around £6 or £7. Across here I cannot find them as cheap, and the American stores I have contacted do not export.

Last night I tried taking some long exposure shots on my HS10 for the first time. I popped down to the ocean just a few hundred meters from the house.I placed the camera on a tripod and set the aperture to F11 and the speed to about 8 secs. The tripod was standing on rocks, there was no wind so I thought it would have no shake at all. However the images still appeared to be a bit blurry.See one of the pics here: http://www.myfinepix.co.nz/gallery/520314/353836

Hello Friends,I have never worked over RAW files but have read in articles over internet. I am bit confused over post capture processing. When we can do processing over Jpeg files too than whats the benifit to capture pictures in RAW format.
